Hello, this is EnZo

Ok, I know the header sounds kinda funny coz why the hell will I even mention a guy on my blog for no reason… Simple, coz he’s the guy who will take over me when I ORD. Yesh! HAHA!!! ORD getting nearer liao le. Finally I can see bright lights in front of me.

The significant thing abt this guy is that he’s 24 yrs old this year. He took a long route to getting his diploma. Not that he’s an ah beng, but just slower than most thats all. First impression was not bad. He looked reliable and honest. Being 24 means he’s supposed 2 b mature in thoughts and actions. Stil he’s better than most ppl in our unit. Haiz… Our unit is full of strange ppl. The consolation is that I got a normal guy as replacement. Not bad for me.

He looks like how I used 2 b when I was posted to my unit. Slowly, as he learns more, I’m gonna do all my tricks and disappear. Time 2 b responsible for myself in SAF. Take MCs, "magic" leave, go for my physio sessions and lastly pursue my driving license. Everything is startin 2 fall into place. The jigsaw puzzle is finally gonna be finished.

Booked my final theory test liao. On 20 Sept 1630hrs at SSDC. Not bad la, at least I start somewhere. I’ll make sure this is those 1 time pass test. Gotta study hard and smart for it. Getting a license is wat I wanted since last year. Seeing so many of my frens getting license really makes me wanna work harder for it.

That aside, I also need to finish the last lap for my studies. Just need to tahan abit more and it’s over, bye bye! Shiok ah! But in terms of private life, I’m pretty much the same. Nothing too fanciful going on. Now only hope to get to know this gal more. She caught my attention at MOS and I managed to get her number from my fren. She looked like the kinda gal I’m looking for it. She has the mature, generous and witty look on her face. Dats wat attracted me to her. But I’ve not been able to ask her out for dinner or movie or anything. Are uni gals dat busy? LoL.

Come to think of it, gettin a gf is not exactly in my plan rite now. Should concentrate more in my other aspects of life. Guess being alone for some time really makes you wanna get attached. I jus dun think so much into it, if I can even progress beyond jus friend with her then I’ll assess my goals again…

Finally, I can see the end of the tunnel after such a tiring and hard journey of getting my diploma. Coming 11 September will be the last paper I’ll sit in MDIS (hopefully) for an Adv Dip course. As for degree, that can wait. Getting a degree isn’t something my family can afford at the time being. Coz my parents don’t exactly have much energy to work anymore, I just want them to retire and rest at home… They have work far too long for a son like me. They don’t deserve the pain, finally time for them to rest, I must make sure I can take on the harder and more screwed up road ahead of me.

Time serving NS passes quite fast, was in Tekong doing shit with other pitiful souls like me. It felt like hell just started and salvation is 2 years away. Felt so damn shitty back then. Now the bunch of us is counting down to our ORD of 4 months, some only 2 months left depending on our rank. Good luck to all the mohawk guys!

I’ve some things to count down b4 I can actually ORD, 1st thing will be my Diploma in Sept, hopefully my replacement will come in Oct so I can slack officially and openly. My quest to a driving license will start immediately I end my studies, as to the schedule of lessons, I’ll need to plan carefully. My target is to get it b4 I ORD in Dec, but it’s a daunting task coz of time. I don’t tink I can drive well and safely for nuts. At the most, can only drag till next Jan. See how lo.

I’ve kinda calculated that even though I have a license, I don’t have the ability to buy a car, so I’ll like to try for motorbike license. At least buying a bike is like 30 times cheaper than a car. Obviously, my chances of getting killed gets more than 100 times. Getting ur own transport is in itself a good luxury. You don’t have to run for buses where the fu*king driving just drive off even though he knows you’re running ur lungs out to catch it. Then there’s the overcrowding to worry during peak hours. People squeeze like sardines in front of the bus while ppl at the back just chat happily with their frens. WTF?!
